I'll Miss Paula Abdul

I know some of you'll think I', nutty but I'll miss Paula Abdul of American Idol fame. The irreconcilible differences leading to her split from the show amount to one thing - mismanagement on the part of the show's producers. Paula was one of the parts that made the show stick.

- Beverly - I like John as well. I'm not a Repub but I think John will continue to do a good job. I find fault though with a view that everything is supposed to be adversarial. This cannot be perpetuated and leads to gridlock.

- If you think the Republicans suck or if you think the Democraps suck - you are wrong, dangerously stereotyping and shortsighted. Perhaps all salaries need to be cut, not just for the well to do. There is a re-balancing going on and it is worldwide.

- Many times earmarks are incorporated into bills they have nothing to do with and I think that is wrong. I suppose to buy votes but either you stand for what the new Health Care law is trying to do or you don't.
